Daily Announcements

There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 1st, for any students interested in Science Bowl Team for this year.  Meeting is in room 911 during 4th lunch.  Juniors and seniors please stop by after school if interested.

Next week is Homecoming week! Get ready to get your spirit on as ""Titans Tune In"" featuring all your favorite TV networks! Monday is MTV so wear your favorite neon colors, 80's gear or favorite concert tee! Tuesday is Food Network so be sure dress as your favorite chef, wear an apron, or favorite snack! Wednesday is Discovery Channel, so get out your safari, animal print or tourist apparel. Thursday is Disney vs. Nickelodeon, choose a side and wear something to represent your favorite character or show! Friday is ESPN Day! Wear your Homecoming shirt for Game Day or your favorite jersey.

Attention ALL Frontier girls between the ages of 14 to 17 years old! Applications for the Bakersfield Pageant are available in the Activities Office! The orientation meeting will be held on Monday, October 7th, at 6pm at the Westchester Event Center and the deadline to apply is October 14th. Stop by for more information!

SENIORS:  If you are 18 years old OR will be 18 by December 1st and are interested in being a CAMP KEEP Counselor……please sign up on the clipboard in the College/Career center ASAP.  We will contact you when the elementary school request counselors.  If you are heavily involved in Frontier activities or athletics, this may not be the program for you due to having to miss classes for one week.  See your counselor or Ms. Crane-Finch in the office for more information.

Attention Juniors: The PSAT will be offered at Frontier during the morning of Wednesday, October 16th. To register you must pay $18.00 in the finance office. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, October 9th, but don’t wait because we only have 150 slots available and it will be first come first served. Please check the school website for all other testing dates and information.

If you are interested in going out for any sports team, you will need to complete the sports packets on line now. Just go to the Frontier High School web page under athletics and all the forms are there. If you have questions, please come in the Athletic/ASB office for the instructions.

Seniors -- Buy your homecoming t-shirts for $15 in the Finance office. Turn your receipt with the size in to Mrs. Escobar IN THE QUEST CENTER. Orders must be in by Monday. No extra shirts will be ordered.

Attention all freshman!  Homecoming shirts are on sale now.  Cost is $15 and can be ordered through the finance office through Thursday this week.  Once you have paid for your shirt, take your receipt to Mrs. Moreno in room 1013 or Mrs. Arvizu or Mrs. Pattison in the front office.

Club Day is TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 17th! This will be a single school lunch period for everyone to be able to talk to clubs on our campus, get information and sign up to join! See you there!
