FCA is meeting today, Friday (September 13th), in room 605 during both lunches. All students are welcome to come hang out. Grab your lunch and then head over to hear an encouraging message.

Uplift club - a club devoted to spreading positivity around campus - will be holding their first meeting this Wednesday in room 801 for fifth lunch and then this Thursday in room 218 for fourth lunch. If you love to lift others up, this is the club for you!

Are you interested in being a Junior Volunteer with Adventist Health?  The winter/spring session is about to start.  The Junior Volunteer Program offers various opportunities for service.  No former volunteer experience is required. Stop by the Career Center to get more information. Applications are due September 20, so don't wait.

Are Visual or Digital Arts, Social Media, Interior Design, Business, or Fashion in your future? If any of these careers interest you, come to the Career Center to sign up to meet a college representative from FIDM. FIDM is an internationally recognized, four-year accredited college with four campuses in California. FIDM’s 26 creative design and business majors educate students for careers in these fields; find out which major of study might be right for you. Get more information about the Bachelor’s, MBA’s, and associate degree programs, scholarships, internships and career resources.

Westmont College, University of the Pacific, Carroll College, Oklahoma State University, University of Hawaii Monoa, Montana Tech and University of Redlands will be on campus on Monday and Tuesday September 9th and 10th. If you are interested in getting more information on any of these colleges, sign up in the Career Center to meet with them.

Attention Juniors: The PSAT will be offered at Frontier during the morning of Wednesday, October 16th. To register you must pay $18.00 in the finance office. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, October 9th, but don’t wait because we only have 150 slots available and it will be first come first served. Please check the school website for all other testing dates and information.

Attention juniors and seniors....Are you planning on taking the PSAT or SATs this year?  Do you need a little help to get you ready? ZAPS is offering a five-hour PSAT/SAT seminar to help you improve scores. Stop by the career center to get more information.

Wear your future Wednesday, wear your favorite college t-shirt, sweatshirt or hat! Thursday, is Highlight your Success - Wear Neon! And Friday is the Big Game Day - Friday Night Lights - Wear your Frontier Blue!

Attention Seniors....The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has just released their 2019 scholarship application.  The deadline for this scholarship is August 30, so stop by the career center to get more information or to find out how to apply.
