English 11CP

English 11 College Preparatory Course is a two-semester course which focuses heavily on the various modes of writing in addition to demonstrating the ability to both read (non-fiction and American Literature) and think critically. This course will require students to read, analyze, and respond to a variety of readings that pertain to current issues as well as write reflectively about those issues. Literature selections will serve as the backdrop for students to analyze theme, structure, and style and technique among various American authors.
