Know Your Rights
Education Code 234.7 now requires that a local educational agency (LEA) post immigration enforcement information, also known as “Know Your Educational Rights” in the administrative buildings and on the internet websites of the LEA and each of its school sites as of January 1, 2026. A copy of posting is included as Appendix G in the Attorney General’s Guidance of December 2025, Promoting a Safe and Secure Learning Environment for All.
