Attention Students who are taking the SAT. It’s never too late to prepare for the SAT. Naviance and Kaplan are putting on several sessions between March 2 and March 7. Please stop by the career center to get more information.

CSUB Department of Nursing will host a Health Careers Conference at BHS Harvey Auditorium on March 9th from 9 am to 1 pm. The purpose for the event is to inspire middle and high school students to consider health care careers as career options. It is a free event with free food.

SENIORS!! The FAFSA deadline is March 2nd. If you have not submitted your application please come and see Ms. Madrigal in the career center. FAFSA will help you pay for college and is necessary if you plan on getting grants, SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOANS.

AIR BAND Auditions: THIS Thursday and Friday at lunch in the gym. Air Band will be April 6. Come out and audition and then perfect your act before the big show!

Frontier's Got Talent-auditions are Thursday and Friday of this week. Thursday is the auditions for talent acts and Friday will be for air band acts. Auditions will take place during lunch in the PAC. The show will take place on March 1st.

Bakersfield College is putting on a STEM and PRE-MED guided Pathways Conference. This conference is designed to allow participants to network with professionals in STEM and medical fields and explore these area of education and career. Stop by the career center for more information.

Next week is National FFA week and we will be celebrating Agriculture across our campus. Be sure and check out the dress up days and lunch time activities in the quad. Petting Zoo, Farmers Market and a Tuff Truck show will be happening. See flyer distributed in your English classes today! Pick up Tuff truck show application in the Career Center.

Titans, we are collecting non-perishable food items in 3rd period classes, now through the 20th of this month.  Many local food banks were cleaned out during the government shut down, and there are many people in Kern County who have been affected by the shutdown and need our help. Bring your non-perishable food items to your third period class and be a part of something positive!

Freshman—there is a Link Crew activity at 4th lunch just for you--Come get a free Valentine cookie and decorate it on Valentine’s Day, February 14, because we LOVE you!
