Titans, we are collecting non-perishable food items in 3rd period classes, now through the 20th of this month. Many local food banks were cleaned out during the government shut down, and there are many people in Kern County who have been affected by the shutdown and need our help. Bring your non-perishable food items to your third period class and be a part of something positive!
Next week is National FFA week and we will be celebrating Agriculture across our campus. Be sure and check out the dress up days and lunch time activities in the quad. Petting Zoo, Farmers Market and a Tuff Truck show will be happening. See flyer distributed in your English classes today! Pick up Tuff truck show application in the Career Center.
Tuesday, the 19th, is “Kiss the Farm Animal” where you can vote a teacher to kiss an animal, such as a pig. The link to vote goo.gl/R7E32i or look for the QR code on campus. Tuesday is also AG College Day, so make sure to wear your college gear!
Bakersfield College is putting on a STEM and PRE-MED guided Pathways Conference. This conference is designed to allow participants to network with professionals in STEM and medical fields and explore these area of education and career. Stop by the career center for more information.
