How are Grades calculated?
- 50% Studio Work
- 30% Written Work
- 20% Assessments (Tests/Quizzes)
Late Work:
- Assignments are worth 1/2 credit if turned in up to 3 days past the date due
- Assignments are worth zero credit after the 3rd day late and will lock on Canvas at that time
- Excused absences are honored 1:1 (4 days excused absence = 4 days extension for full credit)
Overview:
- Cameras are available to rent in all levels of Photo
- All enrolled students have a prepaid Adobe CC Membership that can be used at school and at home
- For students using their phones to participate in the course, you will need the following Apps: Google Drive, Canvas, StudentVUE
- Photo 2/3 uses Canon dSLR cameras (provided by KHSD) and are responsible for safe transport and storage
- All assignments are on Canvas, individual assignment grades & class average can be seen on Canvas
- Students are free to use Adobe Photoshop or Photopea.com (for Chromebooks) to edit their work
- Students must make a habit of uploading their files to Google Drive for safekeeping, they will not be able to access their KHSD Documents folder from home
