2026-27 Testing
The PSAT/NMSQT, also known as the Preliminary SAT, is a standardized test that measures skills and knowledge relevant to college and career readiness. It's a practice version of the SAT and helps students prepare for that exam. The PSAT/NMSQT is offered in the fall to 11th graders and can qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The PSAT will be offered to 11th grade students at Frontier during the morning of Thursday, October 22nd. To register you must pay $10.00 in the finance office by the deadline of Friday, September 25th . Seating is limited so register right away!!
AP exam registration is now open! The deadline to register and pay for an AP exam is Friday, October 23rd.
To reserve an exam, students must do the following by the Friday, October 23rd deadline:
- Complete the registration form and return it to the finance office. It is attached to this page if you need another form.
- Join the AP online classroom using their teacher’s join code for each exam.
- Pay for the exam.
- In person at the Finance Office. Payments can be made by cash, card, or check made to Frontier High School.
- Online at the Frontier webstore*. To make your payment online please visit the school website at frontier.kernhigh.org under “Activities/Frontier Webstore” tab. Sign in or follow the instructions to create an account as needed. Be sure to choose Frontier High School on the school dropdown menu. Write your online receipt # on your registration form and turn your form into the finance office.
