Any students interested in community service hours, the Independence Elementary School is looking for volunteers to help with their fall carnival. Hours are from 4:30-8:30, and volunteers will be fed and receive community service hours. Please see Mrs. Freeborn in room 909 for more information.

Don't miss the Titan Theatre's fall play, A PIECE OF MY HEART! The show is starts tonight, October 25thand also is on the 26th and the 27th at 7 pm in the FHS Performing Arts Center; doors open at 6:30. Tickets are $8 pre-sale and $10 at the door. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased from Ms. Peaker-Lozano in room 323 in the PAC. Come and see your friends in this emotional drama about the Viet Nam war, through the eyes of the women who served.

This week is Salute to Service week, as we honor the men and women who devote their lives to protecting our way of life. Be sure to check out the lunch time activities. Wednesday - corn hole, Thursday - freeze dance and Friday – leapfrog.

"Attention ALL Freshman and Link Crew Leaders!” Join us for a FREE Scary Movie Night, tomorrow, 10/24, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, in the PAC. There will be a costume contest with prizes also candy and drink refreshments on sale for $1 each! ALL Link Crew Leaders are asked to join their freshman for a SCARY, FUN filled night! Don’t forget to show-up in school appropriate costumes to compete for prizes!!!

CSU/UC workshop dates are October 25th and November 8th from 7:30-9:00 am during the late start hour in the Quest Center. And for those of you who are interested in going to BC there will also be a BC workshop on November 15th during school. The workshops help students fill out college applications. If you are interested in signing up for these workshops please sign up in the career center.
