September 11th Announcements

Any Junior or Senior not yet 18 years old……you can be a CAMP KEEP “helper”.  If you are interested please sign up in the college/career center with Mrs. Escobar.  Also, those of you who are 18 years old, we still need you to be a counselor at CAMP KEEP!  Sign up ASAP.  Thank you!


Attention all Juniors: Do you want to be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program? Do you want to start receiving information from colleges and scholarship organizations that are interested in you? Well then, you need to sign up and pay for the PSAT in the finance office today. The test will be offered at Frontier during the morning of Wednesday, October 11th. The cost is $17.00 and the last day to sign up and pay in the finance office is Wednesday, October 4th, but don’t wait because we only have 150 slots available and it will be first come first served. Be sure to check out the school website for other testing dates and information.


Guitar Club will have their first meeting on today, September 11th, after school at 2:45 in Trubey’s room 813.  Come and join the fun!


College Week!!!  Don’t forget to stop by the career center and sign up for college presentations such as University of Santa Barbara, USC, Biola, University of New Mexico, FIDM and many more.  Stop by soon…



Yoga Club meets on Wednesdays after school in room 1001.  Please wear comfortable clothes and all are welcome!


All freshmen and sophomore baseball players:  There will be an informational meeting today after school in room 605, September 11th.



The Latina Leaders of Kern County are currently looking for 10th and 11th grade girls who would be interested in participating in the Latina Leaders Youth Leadership Program this school year.  The program is designed for female students who would like develop their leadership skills and who want to prepare themselves to make positive and informed education and life choices.  If you are interested, please sign up in the career center with Mrs. Escobar, by tomorrow, September 12th, after school.
