April 29th Announcements

If you are trying out for cheerleading for next year please pick up the cheer packet in the athletic/ASB office today. The deadline for all the paperwork is May 6th. If it is not turned in by then you will not be allowed to try out.

 

Attention seniors who are heading to college. The Bakersfield Californian is wanting to salute hard-working Kern County high school seniors headed to college! Stop by the career center to get more information. Deadline to submit your information to the Bakersfield Californian is May 10th.

 

Need something to do for summer?  ROC is offering summer classes for firefighting, 3D animation, personal training, and welding.  You will need to apply online beginning May 1st.  Application will be open from May 1 through May 31.  You do have to provide your own transportation.

 

Kern Medical is offering a junior volunteer program.  This is a great opportunity for students to learn about Kern Medical hospitals and possibly consider entering the medical field.  Stop by the career center to get more information.

 

The Bakersfield Police Department, partnered with the Bakersfield Police Activities League, will be hosting several Junior Police Academy sessions this summer. Stop by the career center for more information.
