April 4th Announcements

The final event of the Gaming Club's Grand Prix is this Friday.  Rocket League on the Xbox One will be played this Friday after school in room 701.  Entry is $5. Pay in the finance office and bring your receipt to the event.  Anyone can enter.  See you there!

 

Easter Grams/ Spring Grams on sale Friday, April 5, Monday April 8, and Tuesday, April 9, for only $1.00! Come by the gram table in front of the dean’s office during both lunches Friday, Monday, and Tuesday.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Reminder that May 22nd, is the date you can view your proposed classes for next year.  Please do not put in a request to change anything at this point.  You may email your counselor your concerns.  We will address any changes after May 22nd.  Thank you for your understanding.

 

Attention seniors: The finance office can no longer accept checks for payment. You must pay cash from this point forward.

Iron Man volleyball game is on Monday, April 8th, at 7:30.  Juniors vs. seniors. Come support your team! Admission will be $3. 

Attention juniors and seniors: The Kern Schools Branch on campus is currently hiring. The student credit union is staffed by Frontier High School students, and right now we are looking for incoming juniors and seniors to staff the credit union during the 2019-2020 school year. The program offers you the opportunity to obtain valuable work experience right here on campus. Students may pick up an application in the branch or in the career center. See the branch manager Lucinda Espinoza if you have any questions. Deadline to turn in applications is April 12th. 

 

ROC Summer School…… ROC’s summer school online application will be opening May 1st and will close May 31st.  Starting May 1st, students can apply for an ROC Summer School class at the ROC website just like they do for our fall classes.  Student applications will be time-stamped and we will fill our classes on a first come, first served basis. There are only a certain amount of spaces per class and we will admit students based on who shows up the first day and the order of when they completed the online application. If you have any questions/concerns about this please contact ROC at 831-3327.  We will remind you the last week of April. Programs being offered: firefighting, 3D animation, personal trainer (3 weeks- 6/3 - 6/21) and welding.

 

The Big Blue Marching Crew has a competition this Saturday at North High. They perform at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $12 at the gate. Head on out there and support the band.
