January 10th Announcements

The swim season is officially upon us, mandatory dryland conditioning will be all week from 3 to 5 P. M., until we are in the pool starting January 22nd. Make sure to complete your physical and packet then bring your blue card to Coach W. or you will not be able to practice….!

 

Attention Junior Girls! Are you interested in participating in a scholarship program where over $5,000 will be awarded, with chances to attend state and/or national level competition, where even larger scholarships are awarded?  Come check out the Distinguished Young Women of Bakersfield scholarship program orientation on Thursday, January 16th, from 6:00-7:00 at the Law Offices of Klein, DeNatale and Goldner (4550 California Ave., 3rd Floor). Bring an 11th grade friend, even from another school! Any junior girl, who lives in Bakersfield is eligible.

 

Congratulations to Jose Landin and Ty Shepherd for winning the Dinuba Invitational this last weekend.  Congratulations to Alyssa Valdivia for winning Napa Valley, the biggest and most prestigious in-season girl’s tournament.  She came in unseeded and upset several girls to become this last weekend’s champion. Finally, congratulations to Trent Tracy for placing 4th and Cole Reyes for placing 3rd at Doc B, the most difficult and prestigious in-season boy’s tournament of the entire west coast. 

 

 

Track & Field has officially started! Please pick-up a packet in the activities office, and come on out to practice each day after school on the blacktop! See you at 3:00!

 

Boys Golf: All boys trying out for the boys golf team, please come to room 905 during 4th and 5th lunch on this Thursday or Friday. This is mandatory!
