May 17th Announcements

  • This evening, will be the last chance to see the choirs perform this year. They will present their, One Hit Wonder’s Pops Concert. Doors open at 6:30 with the concert starting at 7:00 pm on both nights. The cost is $3.00 for students, $5.00 for adults, and $10.00 for families.

 

  • To all of those juniors planning to take AP Psychology next year, please come by Hubbell’s classroom, 714, to pick up your summer assignment. AP Psychology will not only prepare you for the AP exam but is also a dual enrollment class. If you have questions, please drop by and ask. Have a good summer!

 

  • Junior and senior AP rosters are now posted on the career center windows.

 

  • Those juniors taking AP Literature and Composition next year as seniors need to pick up their summer reading from Mrs. Inman in room 603 before school, at lunch, or after school this week.

 

  • HEART ART CAMP-SPONSERORED BY HOFFMAN HOSPICE & DIGNITY HEALTH- Heart Art Camp is for children and teens, ages 6-16 that have lost a loved one. Camp attendees explore their feelings through creative outlets that allow them to honor and remember their special loved ones.  It is located at Dignity Health Memorial Hospital in the Art and Spiritually Center from June 5th through June 8th.  It is from 5:30 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.  The camp is FREE however, there are only 30 spots available.  For more information please come to the career center.

 

  • Have you ever dreamed of seeing the East Coast with its vibrant cities, culture, and history? Well, Mr. Maddox will be traveling there in the summer of 2018 and you're invited! With stops in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC, this is going to be the trip of a lifetime! An informational meeting will be held this Thursday, May 18th, in the Quest Center at 6 P. M. All students and parents are welcome to come learn about this exciting opportunity!

 

All athletes, if your season is over, please clean you athletic lockers out and turn in all your gear to Mr. Ross. Also the spring sports awards are Monday, May 22nd, in the PAC at 6 P. M.
